Where the streets have no names....
🎵Where the streets have 🎵
No names🎵
Where the streets have no lanes🎵
In pei, we're lucky if we even get one lane, actually.
They picked a good time to go on holidays!
This is what we, in pei-land call good luck. Notice how the drift is lower in the driveway than it is in front of the house? In ancient times, early settlers used divination sticks to locate the optimal spots for driveways and held ceremonies to ask the forefathers to bless this location and protect it from snow drifts. The ritual usually involved a corn boil and someone's uncle getting drunk and passing out. Although not in regular practice today, Bonnie from the St. E Irving still practices the ancient snow-drift ritual and coordinating supplies can still be obtained by visiting the bootlegger down in the west end. You'll have to provide your own uncle though.
Dig your way to work
Islanders are finally dusting off from the big storm over Islander Day weekend. Starting to think its about time to get back to work.
Words of advice. Don't be the first person to arrive. Bring your shovel.
