Introduction - "Oh, you're from PEI? I hear it's beautiful there..."

"Oh, you're from PEI? I hear it's beautiful there...I've always wanted to go!"

This is a phrase I hear countless times a year.  Always with the same enthusiasm no matter if it comes from Ontarian, American, South African, or any other CFAs ('come from away's) I may encounter here, in my transplanted life in the Greater Toronto Area.

My response is always the same.  I muster up the same enthusiasm and encourage them wholeheartedly they absolutely should go and that "Its the most beautiful place in the world...." before adding in an undertone "in the summer."

--------------

This blog is dedicated to the snowstorms of Prince Edward Island and the wonderful Islanders who live the everyday in harsh snowstorms so Ontarians can enjoy potatoes, french fries, mussels, and visions of whatever idealic nonsense Lucy Maud Montgomery has scripted into their minds about PEI.

--------------
Because non islanders just do not understand what real snowstorms are, I have decided to keep a collection of snowstorms videos, pictures, etc from PEI.
